Winter to some means skating at Nathan Phillips Square and tobogganing down a steep hill, and to others it means hibernating or something more logical - fleeing down South to Florida.
Personally, Winter is not too bad, when you get past the low windshield, but nothing beats a nice day skating at the rink at the Square, or going to the local bistro with that special someone. Just remember to bundle up!
And let us not forget those traditions we might have on New Years Eve and if you’re Christian - Christmas and if you’re Muslim - Eid ul-Fitr! There’s something for everyone out there so don’t let the weather beat you up, learn to use it to your advantage. But hey, it does get bloody cold Brrrrrrrrrr
It might even come earlier this year because of that G-d forsaken Global Warming, or whatever it is :@
But what about you! What does Winter in Toronto mean to you?
Let us know! [ So I can steal some ideas

Okay so you have heard of the behading on the Greyhound of a young man, and if you haven’t then you must be living under a rock but not even a month later a damn HAMMER ATTACK on a TTC driver?!
The Toronto Star - Hammer Attack on TTC Bus
How does it get to a point where you can viciously beat someone down with a hammer or behead someone on a bus?
We are living in Canada right? :S
People need to remember that we are all the same in nature, though yes a few may suffer from a psychological condition, but majority of us are sane. So why do we treat one another this way? These questions cannot be answered, and left to you to provide an answer.
A fools view on the what’s happening to our public transportation future is that people need to think beyond emotion and unlock the part of the brain that thinks through logic and reason.
Simply disgusting.

Paul Findley was a very brave individual who wrote a book coined; They Dare to Speak Out: People and Institutions Confront Israel’s Lobby
Written in 1947 it was soon taken off shelves (for obvious reasons, DUH!) and quickly edited and distributed as a “second edition” in 1948… Wow that was a quick cover-up there… No questions were asked.
Now there are numerous editions to this one book, why because people believed that this one man exercised anti-semetic thoughts. Now answer me this,
What is anti-semetic about the truth?
There is a difference between a man pleading temporary insansity and an educated senator expressing their [backed up] views on what is occurring in our world today.
But hey Machiavelli said it best in the Prince, “never let the people know“. It works does it not?
A fools view on the book, They Dare to Speak Out, is that it is much too early for the general public to be induldged in such a magnitude of information, without knowing a base -removal of all ignorance. When that time arrives, we will see a revolution.
